The Charleston Junior Woman's Club (CJWC) is a civic, nonprofit organization, founded in 1966. All members of CJWC are united by dedication to community improvement through volunteerism.
The CJWC leadership stresses community involvement among its members, who in turn donate their time and talent to numerous organizations.
In addition to several volunteer opportunities, club members participate in annual fundraising events in order to raise funds for local charities. During the year, social activities and events for members allow them to learn more about one another as well as the club's purposes and goals. CJWC participates in State and International Conventions in its connection to the General Federation of Women's Clubs where is it recognized for its service and leadership within the community. This connection provides club women with networking opportunities within the general federation.
