The Charleston Junior Woman's Club, founded in 1966, is a member of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs. The goal of the organization is to be of service to the community through voluntarism. Personally, we strive to grow as individuals through service, education, and fellowship with one another.
DUES: Annual dues are $80.00.
MEETINGS: General meetings are held on the
first Monday of every month from October through May, with the
September meeting held the second Monday of the month. General
Membership Meetings are held at the Charleston County Library

at 6:30 pm.
FULL CLUB PROJECTS: CJWC sponsors "full club projects" in which all members are required to participate. The project for this year have yet to be decided. Participation in full club projects is a great way to get to know fellow club members and is the KEY to making a difference in our community.
Members also participate in our Community Improvement Project activities which benefit different charities for one full year. For the this year, we will be supporting My Sister's House . We will be planning many service activities with this organization starting this fall.
DEPARTMENTS: The Charleston Junior Woman's Club structure follows that of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Federation programs and projects are established at the national level and implemented at the club level through the work of six departments Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Affairs, and Public Affairs. Each department is chaired by an active club member, which organize several programs and projects for members to participate in through out the club year.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: A few of the organizations supported by CJWC, both monetarily and through service, include:

The Preservation Society of Charleston
The Susan G. Komen Foundation

And many more!
